So my friend Emily and I went and saw Leann Rimes in concert at the Abravenal Hall in Salt Lake back on Friday October 3rd. It was so fun and she did a really good job! At the very end of the concert she sang Amazing Grace, acapella without her band, and well it was AMAZING! She has such a powerful voice, that just gives you chills when she sings that song! I thought it was extra cool too cause the proceeds of the concert went to benefit the Regence Caring Foundation which gives free dental care for children in low income families in Utah that can't afford it.
!We went and walked around Temple Square for a few minutes before the concert started.
I don't really like this picture of me so much but hey for blogging purposes sometimes you just have to make a sacrifice :-) I still have my black eye in this picture and well I think that definitely adds to the reason of me hating it so much. Oh well at least it shows we were having fun! Thanks Em for going with me :-)
