Gardner Village...

My friend Toni, her little boy James and I went up to Gardner Village one morning before I went to work. It is such a fun place to go especially at Halloween Time! They have witches all set out everywhere amongst all the little shops.

We were having a hard time getting someone to take our picture at first cause no one was walking by so we had to just improvise and take it ourselves, which is always hard to do without cutting someone partially out and it doesn't help that I'm squinting, but dang do we both have white teeth or what? Gotta love being a Dental Assistant in that regard :-)

This is one of my favorite witches in the background, they have her up in the air riding a bicycle.

And this witch was showing off her hula-hooping skills :-)

Mr. James all bundled up in his stroller, he liked being outside and he was such good boy the whole time! We had so much fun :-)

A Fun Night with A Fun Friend...

So my friend Emily and I went and saw Leann Rimes in concert at the Abravenal Hall in Salt Lake back on Friday October 3rd. It was so fun and she did a really good job! At the very end of the concert she sang Amazing Grace, acapella without her band, and well it was AMAZING! She has such a powerful voice, that just gives you chills when she sings that song! I thought it was extra cool too cause the proceeds of the concert went to benefit the Regence Caring Foundation which gives free dental care for children in low income families in Utah that can't afford it.

!We went and walked around Temple Square for a few minutes before the concert started. I don't really like this picture of me so much but hey for blogging purposes sometimes you just have to make a sacrifice :-) I still have my black eye in this picture and well I think that definitely adds to the reason of me hating it so much. Oh well at least it shows we were having fun! Thanks Em for going with me :-)

They have really pretty fountains out in front of Abravanel Hall!

A Beautiful Fall Day...

I took these pictures in my yard last Sunday afternoon...it was such a beautiful day, the sky was so blue and well I just love our yard in the fall!  Our cat George was following me all around the whole time I was out taking pictures.  He wanted to be a part of it all and well I find that he is a great listener!  We were having a nice talk and walk that afternoon :-)

First Snowfall

So back on Oct 12th, that Sunday Morning we woke up to our first snowfall of the season.  It was weird because all the leaves were still on the trees and we so hadn't picked all of our apples yet, but as I walked around our yard taking pictures after church, it made me so happy none the less.  I love that I live in a place that has such distinct seasons... each one is important and beautiful in its own way and well I couldn't help singing in my head "What a Wonderful World..."  :-)

My Cute Primary Class...

Oh how I love these kids!  I so look forward to teaching them every week :-) My cousin Samantha is in my class and Brandon comes in from Nursery lots of times too! There are two other boys missing that weren't there that day I took the picture, so as you can see the boys definitely out number us girls :-) The little boy that has his eyes closed is cute little Rylan (the one that asked for my phone number cause he wanted me to come over and catch butterflies with him at his house)  How absolutely adorable is that?! :-)

Fall Time...

We went up the canyon a couple of Sundays ago after church, took a little picnic lunch and walked around for a bit taking pictures. So relaxing and so nice to spend time together!
My cousin Mitchell came with us and took this little family photo for us. Thanks Mitch!
A storm was coming in as we were up there but it was still so pretty!
Izzy sure enjoyed the ride! :-)
I love fall time so much!

Another story to tell...

Ok so here is the story although I feel like I should make up some more exciting one than what really happened. I was at my friend Toni's last night (who recently moved in with her inlaws) anyway as I was leaving their house I went to go get in my car. As I unlocked my car door I couldn't help looking up in the sky at this giant cross all lit up at some church across the street. Well as I was staring at that I opened up the car door and swung it open... bam... right into my eye! Ouch! And oh so stupid! I sat there stunned for a minute and then realized blood was trickling down my cheek not to mention that I couldn't see straight and had tears streaming out my eyes. Boy did it hurt... I hit it dang hard! Ya so this little war wound was totally self-inflicted, and with not a very exciting story to tell besides my car door totally attacking me! This was a totally classic Tami thing to do, that's for sure! :-) The bad thing about black eyes is they get progressively worse before they get better... Trouble!
