Simple Pleasures...

 So I just love this picture of my cousin Cindi and how happy she is...she helped me learn a valuable lesson today on this beautiful Sabbath day.  It really is all about the Simple
Pleasures in life...I think we get too caught up in our busy lives sometimes that we forget that its the little things that make us the most happy.  I have been struggling the last few weeks as once again I find myself being hurt over this whole dating emotional roller coaster I've been riding on the past few months and so this is exactly what I needed today to lift my spirits.  A few weeks ago Cindi's brother and his family were here visiting from Oregon and they all went out into the Orchard with her other siblings and Dad and Stepmom to take family pictures but did they take Cindi out there with them...NO she was told she can't go out into the orchard to take pictures that's no place for her she would trip and fall.  They are constantly telling her things she can't do and why because they don't want to be bothered with her or take the time to help her.  She was so hurt by that and so today we erased that hurt and proved that she indeed can take pictures out in the orchard! Sure it took a little bit of time helping her walk slowly over the rocks and bumps in the ground with her hanging on to my arm for dear life afraid that she might fall...but she did it and she was so grateful that I would take the time to do this simple little thing for her that meant so much to her!  It just reminded me how some of the greatest joy we experience in life is through serving others!

 So was not feeling very well this Valentines Day both physically and emotionally but my day got brightened a little this afternoon when my two cute coworkers Kandace and Lacie had these pretty flowers delivered to me at the office...such a fun surprise and put this smile on my face despite how miserable I'm feeling!

Been a while...

Well you know its been a while since my last blog post was entitled "Fall Already?"  Ha ha and here we are with it going to be Valentines Day tomorrow...crazy how time flies! Also I know its been a while because they've updated things on blogger again that has got me all confused...I managed to change my background but can't figure out how to change the colors of the writing or anything like that!  Anyways this post is for you Lace I know its a miracle I'm finally getting around to updating it!   So I'm not even going to try and go back and catch up there's just too much so I just need to start a new and be a better blogger in the future! ha ha :)   I did get a really cool new camera for Christmas I will say that... I enjoy taking pictures a lot especially scenery ones! Well that's it for now...I am alive though and am going to be back in the blogging world now just you wait and see :)
